Vinay Kapoor
I started taking photos about 6 years ago, firstly for the Down 2 Earth Magazine and later for the BFG and fundraising department. Over the years I have used several different cameras.
The first camera I worked with was a 35mm film camera. Then I was lucky enough to be given a digital camera. I found it easy to use the digital camera and this made me very interested in taking more and more pictures.
I was so upset when my camera was stolen and I had to wait many months until a new camera could be obtained.
Richard has helped a bit with his tips, to come up with file photos for the OXO exhibition.
I have seen people who are professionals taking photos at conferences, events and balls and I think that is what I would like to do.
I went to India to see my family and travelled all around the different states and visited a museum called “The Times of India”, the old station and old bus stand .
In January 2008 I took pictures related to my religion. It means a lot to me about my culture. I have good memories about my childhood in India and it will always be a special place for me.
I love taking photos, that is my best job. I would like to take a lot more photos as well as doing my job with fundraising as an assistant, and my duties with membership (which I find boring).
Why I take photos is I like to share with the team and to give tips.
